Finally I get to post up the pics of my Fishing Trip at Gobilt, Bako.
Been really busy Thats kinda shocking with all the nothing-ness thats going on.
Anyway the trip didnt go to waste as I caught 3 fishes (which I'm glad was edible), the whole group caught bout round of 8 fishes which were kinda big...hehe..
The place was at a ship dock (kinda of a 'jeti'), and close to the sea...

...Before...On the way to fish...Everybody was all hyped up and raring to go...
...After...Everybody was badly sunburned but happy nonetheless..
My forehead skin actually peeled off lil by lil the next day...
The first fish of the day. Kinda small but I was delighted.My first catch in years...
And then the Master, Lawrence took over with a huge one...had to drag it to land...^^

And then the rain started... mind you it was not really light..Couldnt resist for a round of shots in the rain..
My mind kept telling myself that we could be blown off the dock into the sea...^^

The river was half full with garbage..we caught enough material to create a makeshift Crusoe hut..
which Mat was delighted with because of the scorching hot sun..
And did I mentioned that we caught a SHARK??
Actually its a baby shark...small one only...^^
But what better way for a group photo than with a shark!^^
The experience was great and we did catch something....
eventhough that we half-cooked ourselves in the scorching sun...

I missed fishing so much now after reading about this post. My last one was a 9.5kg tenggiri aka mackeral... hehe :P

9.5kilos... Anyway we were fishing near coastal areas so I'd only expect till 2kilos heaviest there is...
But maybe one day, will try deep sea fishing..haha.. and then mabe I'll get my 10 kilos fish..^^
